Rory Mullins
Product and Furniture Designer
My design practice seeks to investigate the relationship between people and objects. I am particularly passionate about exploring the narrative quality of this interaction, highlighting how we relate to and are affected by the objects around us. I have completed extensive material experimentations and developed a strong practical making ability in wood, metal and ceramic processes. Equally, I have broad experience in CAD, prototyping and 3D printing. I have collaborated with many companies both at University and in my professional career, including SCP, Alessi, Foster and Partners, Maybrey Reliance Foundry and USM.
