‘Corked’ series of fruit bowls were developed from memories of my grandmother storing wine corks in her fruit bowl to ward off flies. 

They explore tradition and capturing memories through playful interaction.The cork feet absorb moisture from the ripening fruit which in turn emits a fragrance which fruit flies do not like.
