SPINE

Spine is a modular, flat pack room divider, consisting of multiple, individual cardboard sections which simply slot into the neighbouring segments allowing the wall to be articulated to suit any desired situation. A 2m wall fits into a 100 x 60 x 15cm box and weighs less than 7kg, meaning ease of storage and cheaper shipping costs.

The spine project started as a material study of corrigated cardboard, utlising it’s unique properites, in particular the fact that it is very strong in one direction and flexible in the other.
